The research entails multidisciplinary efforts related to fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics as well as information science. You are expected to publish the findings in relevant journals and present results at international conferences and workshops. Mentoring of postdocs and summer students in this general area is expected. What You Need Minimum Job Requirements: Must have substantial research experience and a strong record of accomplishments in quantum information, quantum physics, algorithm development, quantum cryptography or error correction. Demonstrated publication record in one or more of the above topics Excellent communication and language skills, as evidenced by publications and the cover letter Demonstrated ability to work independently to develop new research directions Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment Desired Skills: Postdoctoral experience is highly desirable Applicants whose work spans more than one of these disciplines are especially encouraged to apply Ability to obtain a Q clearance Education: A Ph.D. in physics, applied mathematics, or a related field Notes to Applicants: Please include a CV with a publication list and a cover letter describing research interests.
