Title: Measuring entanglement in many-body quantum systems.
Abstract: In the first part of my talk, I will show how to measure the entanglement
spectrum of ground states of generic Hamiltonians based on the direct engineering of the
entanglement Hamiltonian [1]. Our method, based on the Bisognano-Wichmann theorem, allows
to measure the entanglement spectrum via spectroscopy techniques. I will provide numerical
examples to support this result and give examples of AMO implementations of entanglement
Hamiltonians.
In the second part of my talk, I will present a method to measure Renyi entropies using
random quenches. I will illustrate our approach in the context of 2d Hubbard (ultracold
atoms) and Quantum Ising (Rydberg atoms, trapped ions) models.
