Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Psychometricians/Neuropsychological Examiners wanted for a Saturday position (may also lead to additional days on Wednesday and Friday depending on demand) in a private group practice setting. The technician will administer neuropsychological and general psychological tests to patients with a wide range of neurological and psychological conditions. This position will involve the working with a team of psychologists, psychiatrists, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, school and community agencies. This can also be a practicum or internship position.
Job Duties:
Job duties include administering, scoring, and interpreting neuropsychological measures to children, adolescents and adults presenting with a variety of neurological/psychological conditions (ADHD, LD, Asperger's, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Attachment/Adoption issues, etc.). A typical test battery includes measures of: IQ (WAIS/WISC), attention, memory, executive functioning, visual perception, language/fluency, academic achievement (WIAT-III), information processing and social/emotional functioning. All testing is done under the supervision of a licensed psychologist/neuropsychologist.
Qualifications:
Eligible candidates for this position will have earned or are in the process of earning a graduate degree in education, psychology, counseling or a related field. Prior testing experience is required especially in IQ and academic assessments, although some training on specific measures is provided.

Duties and Responsibilities
Experimental Psychology at UCL is looking for a psychologist with a strong commitment to world-class research. The Department particularly welcomes applications from experts in social cognition, broadly defined, to complement our existing expertise in this area. This could include the development of social cognition, computational or experimental investigations of social cognition, or social cognitive neuroscience. The appointment will be at Senior Lecturer level (equivalent to Associate Professor). The ideal candidate must have experience of leading a research program, has a record of high-quality publications commensurate with the stage of their academic career, and is able to contribution to both our undergraduate and graduate programs, lead research projects in the area of social cognition, and obtain competitive research funding. This person will contribute to the department’s research, teaching, graduate supervision, and administration.
Experimental Psychology is part of the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences at UCL, which offers excellent opportunities for cross-disciplinary research and the infrastructure for the successful applicant to build up their own research team.
The position is open ended, with a three-year probationary period (equivalent to tenure track).
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Psychology or a related field and will be engaged in a program of original research that enhances the department’s research portfolio and that can give rise to PhD projects and applications for research funding.
