Hi,
I am looking for 2 graduate TA's for a live-online psychology course I'm
teaching through the Harvard Extension School next semester, "Psychology of
Competition and Peak Performance". Below are details about this position
and the attached syllabus:
TA pay: $4260
Class dates: Mondays, January 23-May 13, 6:30pm-8:30pm ET
Classes: Live, Zoom classes + Weekly sections where students will present
their observation reports (these are formal presentations, not
discussions).
Comprehensive TA responsibilities:
*Attendance*
- Attend class (or watch later)
- Manage weekly sections where students give formal presentations.
*Grading*
- Each week: Grade Observation report presentations from your section
(1-2 per week)
- Each weekend: Grade pre-reading and post-reading personal reflections
over the weekend (pre and post reading reflections up to 200 words per
prompt--up to 15 students each week per TA or rotate weeks between TA's)
- Before each Monday morning: One TA will email the overall themes from
personal reflections to me by Monday mornings (rotate between 3 TA's)
- Once: Review topic and list of references (15 per TA)
- Once: Help grade final papers (up to 15 per TA)
