Seeking Master's or Doctoral-Level Part-Time Data Analyst For Genetic Studies
The Psychiatric and Neurodevelopmental Genetics Unit (PNGU), based in the Center for
Genomic Medicine (CGM), and Department of Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital
(Boston), is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic master's or doctoral-level
part-time data analyst to start immediately. Working under the direction of Dr. Erin C.
Dunn

the data analyst will be responsible for conducting data management and data analysis
tasks for a study examining the genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic predictors of
susceptibility to depression. Ideal candidates would have an interest in genetics, as
well as experience in genetic association analyses, R, the Unix environment, and working
with large-scale epidemiological datasets. Experience in psychiatric epidemiology is a
plus, but not required. The position will begin immediately and could be extended based

(Boston), is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic master's or doctoral-level

tasks for a study exploring the epigenetic pathways through which exposure to poverty
becomes biologically embedded during sensitive periods in development. Candidates should
have an interest in poverty, socioeconomic status, social adversity, or social
epidemiology. Ideal applicants would have training in statistics or biostatistics and
experience with R or SAS. Experience working with large-scale epidemiological datasets is
a plus, but not required. The position will begin immediately and could be extended based
