Subject: Adjunct Professor needed
The Department of Psychology at Stonehill College is looking for someone to teach a
section of Theories of Learning in the spring semester of 2016:
Surveys the functionalistic, associationistic and cognitive schools of learning - applying
constructs such as limits, incentives, practice, insight, transfer, and memory to
education, child rearing, and adjustment therapy.
This course is scheduled to be taught over the over the course of the 14 week semester
beginning on Tuesday January 19th. At this time, there is some flexibility in when the
course can be scheduled.
Applicants having a Ph.D. in Psychology, and previous university-level teaching experience
are preferred. Applications should be submitted to

curriculum vitae, a teaching statement detailing previous experience and teaching
methodology, evidence of teaching effectiveness (i.e., course evaluations), and a list of
no more than three references. Letters of reference should be sent separately to the same
