The Department of Psychology at Worcester State University is seeking candidates for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a focus on the biological bases of
behavior, to start September 1, 2019.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the interdisciplinary
Psychobiology Minor and to teach courses such as Brain and Behavior, Sensation and
Perception, and Research Methods. We seek candidates who strive for teaching excellence,
and who are committed to a program of research that involves mentoring undergraduates.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. (ABD considered), research productivity, and teaching experience in
biopsychology/psychobiology, neuropsychology, physiological psychology, and neighboring
disciplines are required.
