Tenure-track Assistant Professor, Neural Basis of Psychopathology
The Program in Behavioral and Systems Neuroscience, Department of Psychology, Rutgers
University - New Brunswick, NJ, invites applications for an Assistant Professor whose
research focuses on the neural basis of psychopathology. Individuals whose scientific
programs include state of the art methodology (including but not limited to molecular,
genetic, or electrophysiological approaches) in human subjects and/or animal models are
particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by September 1, 2015 in
Psychology, Neuroscience or a related field, with a strong record of research and
publication and potential for extramural funding. The successful candidate will be
expected to develop and maintain an active, extramurally-funded research program and also
to teach undergraduate and graduate psychology courses. Rutgers University-New Brunswick,
is located in central New Jersey between New York City, Princeton, NJ, and Philadelphia.
