The Psychology Department at Stonehill College invites applicants for an assistant
professor, tenure-track appointment in Psychology to begin July 2017. This person will
join a department of ten full-time faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise and
a commitment to fostering diversity among faculty and students.
We seek applicants who have completed a Ph.D. or Ed.D. and are committed to excellence in
teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduates in research. We are particularly
interested in candidates with expertise in the area of clinical or counseling psychology
as responsibilities will include teaching both a course in the candidate's area of
specialty and some of the existing Psychology courses. Additional responsibilities
include developing and/or maintaining a research program. The Stonehill College
Psychology Department is proud of its state of the art clinical and counseling research
space and the successful candidate will be supported in developing an active research
program that includes mentoring students.
