The Harvard Psychology Department has multiple openings for Teaching Assistants for Fall
2023!
TAs provide instructional support for core courses by leading weekly discussion or lab
sections for large lecture courses. TAs play a vital role in the instruction of these
essential courses, and we hope you will apply to work with our students. This is a
wonderful opportunity to join our thriving community of educators and scholars in the
Department of Psychology. Full-time and part-time benefits-eligible positions are
available!
In addition to section preparation and instruction, TAs are expected to grade assignments
and exams, hold weekly office hours, attend lectures, attend teaching staff meetings, and
complete related duties as outlined by the course instructor. TAs will work closely with
and receive mentorship on instruction and course administration from faculty course
heads.
We anticipate openings in the following Fall 2023 courses:
PSY 1 Introduction to Psychological Science
PSY 15 Social Psychology
