ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of PSYCHOLOGY,
QUANTITATIVE/METHODOLOGIST POSITION (FA1419E),
EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY
Tenure-track position available Fall 2014 for Ph.D. in psychology or closely related area
(research area open) to teach courses covering a broad range of contemporary data analytic
techniques including (but not limited to) SEM, HLM, multivariate procedures, and analyses
of longitudinal data. The applicant will: develop an empirical research program;
facilitate undergraduate Honors theses, masters theses and doctoral dissertations; attract
external funding; and engage in service activities, especially advising faculty and
students on statistical procedures and research design.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant and productive department that serves over
1000 undergraduate majors, as well as students in master’s programs in Experimental
Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and students in an APA-accredited PhD program in Clinical
Psychology. Eastern Michigan University enrolls approximately 24,000 students and offers
