Dear Ms. Raia,
I write as a follow-up to my visit to your office this past Monday (4/20). Attached
please find a job advertisement for an opening at the Research Program Specialist I level
at California DMV. We seek qualified candidates with training in social/behavioral
research methods and statistics. Successful candidates will have graduate training in
these areas, with at least one (1) year of applied experience conducting research studies.
While familiarity with traffic safety research is desirable, it is by no means required.
Our current staff comprises a multi-disciplinary team with backgrounds in
cognitive/experimental psychology, sociology, and geography.
We currently have two (2) openings at this classification, which we seek to fill before
the end of this calendar year. Please circulate this advertisement to any persons you
think may be interested in this opening.
Any questions should be directed to myself. I am reachable at
bayliss.camp@dmv.ca.gov<mailto:bayliss.camp@dmv.ca.gov>, or at the address and phone
number listed below.
Sincerely yours,
Bayliss
