at Rutgers University-New Brunswick invites applicants for a postdoc position to begin in
Summer/Fall 2019 (flexible).

that borrows heavily on methods from psychology, experimental economics, clinical
neuroscience, and computational psychiatry. Projects span clinical studies of risk and
resilience factors in addiction recovery to experimental studies of value construction,
subjective states (craving, stress), and dietary choice in health, and use a variety of
techniques including behavior, functional MRI, psychophysiology, and clinical assessment
and phenotyping. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop their own
research questions within the broader aims of the lab as well as contribute to ongoing
projects and collaborations.
Rutgers University offers an ideal environment to conduct clinically-oriented
computational and cognitive neuroscience research including access to the
Rutgers-Princeton Center for Computational Cognitive Neuro-Psychiatry, the Rutgers Brain
Imaging Center, the Brain Health Institute, and a large network of university-affiliated
clinics and treatment centers. Added bonus: we are located an hour train ride from
wonderful New York City.
Qualifications: PhD, MD or MD/PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or a related
field is required. Previous experience working with functional neuroimaging, computational
modeling, and/or patient populations is strongly desired but not required. The ideal
candidate will be enthusiastic, curious, and will have excellent communication skills.
