Dear Friends of the Tsakopoulos Hellenic Collection, As part of a series of events commemorating the centennial anniversary of the end of the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922), the Angelo K. Tsakopoulos Hellenic Studies Center and Tsakopoulos Hellenic Collection, University Library, invite you to join us on Feb. 10, 2023 for a musical performance entitled Uproot: Greek Refugee Songs from Asia Minor by the Greek Chamber Music Project. The performance will feature modern arrangements of Greek music from the region, celebrating this vibrant musical heritage and capturing the refugee experience through song. Event details: Date: Feb. 10, 2023 Time: 7 p.m.; refreshments will be served during intermission Location: Hinde Auditorium (University Union), Sacramento State This event is funded in part through a UEI Campus Grant.
