I think it will be appropriate to celebrate the 25th of March 1821, if you can post the
following enquiry:
What do we know about the philhellene Daniel Zuinn? He did a translation (most probably a
partial translation not the whole poem), of the Hymn to Liberty by Dionysios Solomos, his
translation can be found in the book "To kleidi tou Hellenos en Amerike". Can
we post his translation? Its existence it is known in the Greek bibliography but we do
not know the test.
Today 23rd of March, at the Hellenic American Union the presentation of a disc of all the
works by Sophocles will be given. I hope you can open the attachment.
