Its scope is twofold: a. to compile a reliable database in both the Greek and English languages of digital archival sources, digital bibliographical material and audiovisual resources on Modern Greek History which will be useful for both scientific and educational purposes and b. to explore the public history of modern Greece in the digital domain with a particular emphasis on life stories, family and local histories in an attempt to unravel the public uses of the past.
