Both documents are posted on the Bibliographic Standards Committee page: http://www.rbms.info/committees/bibliographic_standards/index.shtm See the section "Other documents" at bottom of page. OCLC convened this task force in summer 08 after learning from our community that WorldCatLocal lacked significant content and functionality that is crucial for effective discovery of rare books, archives, and other special collections material. The group of experts (listed in the task force¹s report) worked closely with OCLC staff under a short timeline and produced an excellent report that makes 14 recommendations for improvements. The good news is that fixes for a significant number of these will be implemented in the next few months (including one significant item‹a more robust detailed record display--in a system upgrade on 19 April), while others are under development. A couple of very difficult issues are under continued study by OCLC. Information about providing feedback to OCLC appears on the page one of OCLC¹s response document.
