Subject: Policy Research Opportunities in the Pacific Northwest
Dear fellow public policy and sociology alums,
Greetings from Washington State! I wanted to pass along some current job opportunities within my research group at the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services in Olympia, WA. I've worked here for about a year and half now and very much enjoy it --- it's a great group of friendly and smart colleagues working on important and policy-relevant issues and ultimately working to improve the health and social services provided to some of the most vulnerable populations in the state. We're recruiting for master's and PhD-level positions, and are looking for people with strong quantitative and communication skills. Can you please pass along these job opportunities to any students or other individuals who may be interested? Thanks in advance!
On a personal note, Matt and I are loving Olympia and just bought a house here in April. And we're enjoying the beautiful mild summertime here. Hope you are all doing great!
