Work for Oana Dan, a former graduate of the Harvard Sociology PhD program, at Nielsen!
I am reaching out to see if you know of any grad students who may be interested in a non-academic position in market research. I would be the manager, and am basically looking for smart and innovative people with great data analysis and communication skills. The position description is below, but there is some flexibility on requirements and location.

So, if you know of anyone, please send them my way (I hope it's OK to discuss non-academic opportunities).
Thank you so much, and have a great weekend!
Oana Dan
FYI
The Department of Sociology at Rhode Island College, a public comprehensive college in Providence, RI, is looking for a visiting instructor for the 2016-2017 academic year. The teaching load is three courses per semester, with a cap of 30 students per section. The position is open to anyone with an MA in sociology, though teaching experience is strongly preferred. The fall teaching load is likely to involve two sections of introduction to sociology and one section of law and society (candidates do not need to be law and society scholars to apply for the position); spring teaching load is TBA, but may involve an upper-level course serving our justice studies major. We are looking to hire immediately and applications will be evaluated in the order in which they are received. Questions are welcome and may be directed to the Department Chair, Mikaila Arthur, at marthur(a)ric.edu<mailto:marthur@ric.edu>. To apply, please send a cover letter describing your teaching philosophy and experience, a CV, and the names and contact information for three references to marthur(a)ric.edu<mailto:marthur@ric.edu>.
