Sasha –
Hope you’re well! You may know that I’ve recently moved back home down south and joined the sociology faculty at UNC-Greensboro. We are hiring an assistant professor with a focus on research methods (we are also hiring for criminology but that will come later in the year). Could you pass the info along to Harvard Sociology PhD students on the market?
I’m on the methods hiring committee and happy to answer any questions about the position or about life in North Carolina, my home state. We are quite open to scholars employing different methodological approaches—in other words, we’re not looking to hire someone to teach stats necessarily, but the faculty member would be expected to teach research methods at the undergrad and MA grad level.
Thanks!
